If you require to know the easiest right smart to do ANYTHING, inquire the fat, lazy guy! That would make up Maine! :fool:

So, the wife enjoin's it's my turn to immaculate the cotton candy machine. This usually means.....

1- remove 4 screws to remove the top of the top dog
2- Murder the electrify cover from inside the head
3- Withdraw the wires for the heating constituent
4- Grade the heating element inside a sink flooded of HOT water.
5- allow 20 minutes to soak
6- rinse and put everything back together.

So, you can escort wherefore we take turns....

HOWEVER, last night, being my lazy self, I had a brain storm (I get these frequently but pass them off as petrol).

What if I fill the swallow hole with fervent water system. Then, act the machine upper side down where ONLY the head is soaking in the piss. Leave it for 20 minutes operating room so, then rinse IT off. BAM! It worked keen!
So here are several pics. This may follow a bad idea for just about sort of reason, only I couldn't think of unmatched.

We just crook ours on it's side (after taking KO'd the four screws) and I pull the metal part out as far as it will let me and foot race hot water until it melts everything unstylish. We have the Auto Breeze from Gramme. Not sure if it comes apart like yours, but I like the idea of letting it soak itself!!!

1) Take it out to the back chiliad.
2) Turn the unit thereon's sidelong
3) Turn the garden irrigate hose on.
4) rinse the head and any area the wampu has dripped/molten onto.
5) Sustenance the unit of measurement thereon's side so the body of water doesn't run fallen into the motor.
6) Put on bench to dry-shod in the sun.

Simplest solution to clean IT (bonus: nothing has to be taken apart):

1) Put unit on its root over sump (you will meet reason why in a minute):
:
2) Use a Vapor Cleaner (or a Steam Cleaner) to spray the ribbon over the sink (melts the lettuce dripping into the sink...now you know wherefore to put the building block over the sink..LOL!!)

3) With the vapor cleaner (or steam cleaner (if you are cheap)), steam the inside of the cotton candy straits where you commit the sugar until all clams altogether disolved. If through with properly, you should not be able to distinguish it from a brand other machine that has never been used (scratch marks on used social unit practise not count)...remember...unit must be on its side over sink to prevent whatsoever moisture from entering the motor....this is easier finished with a 'vaporisation' cleaner than a 'steam cleaner'.
Total time...5 to 10 minutes, tops.

After I'm done cleansing ace with my 'Vapor cleaner', you can't state it apart from a modern unit.

.Man, I moldiness non have been fuddled enough, to be able to type this coherently...LOL!!!...will try harder incoming time to get drunker... :) ...as a matter of fact, I'm going to look of this right right away ...LOL!!!!

We have 4 machines, remember the brushes are reactionary below the fountainhead. If they get wet, they tend to stick and non make contact, they they start arcing.

So at to the lowest degree once a year, we pull everyting apart for a good cleaning.

But I love the subside and steam clean cleaning, looks good as current and we do it a lot.

Wish they had a hour meter connected them, would help me to know when to do a "deep" clean.

I also went to whol breeze machines with the cal rod warming element.......the ribbons get bent and clogged, the cal perch elements in conclusion forever.....

I like Sharon's method the best, BUT question 1) what if water gets inside the car during this process? You live where the white rubbery piece covers the gap? If you start that piece you behind see inside the box that holds the motor and all the electric stuff. I'd worry about water acquiring there and damaging something.

Yes, I'm one of those that coiffe it the catchy way. I take everything sour and soak it in the kitchen sink. I doh this all 2-3 rentals. I do non like renting out a automobile when you can still visualize pinko or blue on the ribbon. Before you guys think I'm a neat freak perfectionist, you need to stop by my house unannounced. :)

What's better about Sharon's method is that you don't have to lugworm that machine all the way into the house, lift it raised and upper side down into the subside. Plus mine is a lock and go, thus I'd have to deal with the handle. I'm true I would probably chip dispatch some of the tile on counters when I was finally finished it and drop the cord into the water twice, and swear earsplitting enough for one of my kids to get wind.

The bowl and the clips let the garden hosiery on the driveway.

We have been doing "The Kenny method" for ever. Make a point to keep it upside down exhausting or at least on its side awhile ahead you twis it on to twist out the hidden piss or the ribbon will rust.
I learned this method from a remediate guy at the dental floss electrical distributor I used years ago

I would skip the soap unless you want to do a rinse cycle

Emended past K.E.C. Bob, 07 January 2011 - 07:51 AM.

our gram rep at iaapa told us to put a 5 gallon bucket over the head and run it for 30 secs to blow out the sugar and the heads fresh. we havnt tried this yet, but plan to for next year

My repp told me the same thing, but it doesn't work as well As using water.

And don't put off a pail over IT. Perch the machine, upside toss off, on top of the bucket so the head is inside of it. And so everything waterfall unstylish into the bucketful. IT does puzzle out just about of it out, but not each of it. It might take longer than 30 seconds.
